Providers of assisted reproductive technology (ART) must be licenced by the Department of Health Western Australia under the Human Reproductive Technology Act 1991. The Licensing and Accreditation Regulatory Unit (LARU) is responsible for the licensing and monitoring of these facilities in Western Australia.
